BLADDER LIQUID RESERVOIR
A new cost effective bladder reservoir for liquids was designed, manufactured and patented.
The bladder reservoir is manufactured out of welded vinyl impregnated tarpaulin sheet material. The bladder reservoir is less expensive, by volume, than existing mesh and vinyl and bladder reservoirs.
The design of the bladder reservoir allows for the storing of an unlimited volume of fluid because the strain on the construction material remains constant, irrespective of the size of the reservoir. The design is such that the reservoir supports itself as it is filled. The bladder reservoir has the same strength and lifespan of conventional mesh and vinyl and bladder reservoirs. The manufacturing process has been optimized to ensure the efficient use of manufacturing material whilst maintaining more than adequate strength. The bladder reservoir also provides an attractive alternative to concrete reservoirs. The bladder reservoir prevents the growth of algae and the like as water is stored in a dark environment.
Applications.
There are various applications including the following:
- Large (or small) storage reservoirs for the following liquids: water (including drinking water), fuel, oil, sludge or any liquid that does not react with vinyl.
- In the farming, mining and forestry industries for liquid storage including the storage of emergency water supply, temporary storage in water treatment operations and mining processes or storage of hazardous waste material.
- The reservoir is portable and thus easy to use in temporary storage applications.
